Devotional Excerpts from the Biography of Anthony Norris Groves
Anthony Norris Groves (1795–1853) gave up a prosperous dentistry practice to serve as a missionary in Baghdad and India, trusting God alone for his needs. These thirty devotional excerpts, assembled with the biographer’s permission, trace his life of faith through plague, flood, grief, and slander, and his vision for simple New Testament churches. His booklet Christian Devotedness inspired his brother-in-law George Mueller to live and serve by faith.
