Boaz’s Example of a Godly Man (Ruth)

4 pages · Ruth 1–4

In the book of Ruth, Naomi is empty and bitter with the Lord until Boaz enters, and by the end of Ruth 2 she is blessing the Lord for a kindness that flowed through a godly man. This article traces how Boaz brought the LORD into situations, showed kindness, valued a woman of worth, and addressed matters righteously, diligently and completely. It sees the same in the Lord Jesus, our Redeemer, and closes with questions for men called to be “strong to bless.”
