Laws in Romans 7 and 8 Chart (The Problem)
This one-page chart pictures the problem described in Romans 7–8. Law comes to the flesh, where sin dwells. The mind says “Do good!” and looks to the flesh to be able to walk, but sin says “Do evil!” The law of sin means sin controls the flesh and directs the members to sin, and the law of death means the mind tries but cannot control the members, so the result is sin.
